Our little Jude

Yummy toes!

Big smile :-D

Jude had a pimple on his "posterior" (this is a family friendly blog after all) and I gave it a squeeze and out popped a worm, ahhhhh! It was actually super tiny (2 millimeters?) and it's what we call here, a mango worm. Our dogs get them a lot in their legs during the rainy season (they can get as big as your pinky) but we've never actually had one. Praise God that I found it when it was still super small. Someone told me that the flies lay their eggs in the clothes when they're damp on the line. We do have a dryer but we rarely use it to keep our electric bill down. But from now on all of Jude's clothes are going in it!

Ugh! I really do not like to hear the "worm" stories.. I know its all part of.......... but Grammie has a tough time with the "worm" stories..
Then for goodness-sake.. that one with Jacob!! Double Ugh!! But I do like lizards for the most part.. especially if they help keep the SLUGS down..
God Bless all of you, Grammie :)

PS) My little Jude is getting big! I was amazed at the difference since April!

So cute!

You both make beautiful babies if I don't say so myself!

Love & Prayers, Grammie from Fla.

We too have had our experiences with the worms (in Moz. there called Putsi flies). If you really want to be grossed out put vaseline over the little pimple and watch the worms crawl out because they can't breath....yuck. Praying you all have a wonderful time of rest and refreshment when you are home. Hope maybe we get a chance to see you and maybe even get together with you. Andrea Pavkov

hey holly... in malawi i remember leaving all our clothes on the line till they were starting to get faded in order for them to be really, really dry... then i think that we started to iron everything! :) cause the sun was doing so much damage to our clothes... ahhhhh the joys of a semi-tropical/tropical climate!! brings back memories though!
